Oggi mi va di scrivere qualcosa che non ha niente a che fare con l’informatica, linux, la musica metal, gli anime e niente di cui abbia parlato finora…

... ho scoperto una cosa spassosissima! XD

Uhm… che strano. Questo non sembra il futuro!


Ti sto dicendo che era già morto quando sono arrivato

A me i gatti fanno ridere parecchio già naturalmente, ma questi si chiamano Lolcats ed è un fenomeno dilagante su Internet dal 2005 (ne ha parlato anche il TIME Magazine), quando la prima immagine (a lato) fece il giro della rete…

Il termine ovviamente deriva dalla composizione di LOL (termine dello slang internettiano che indica il divertimento (laughing out loud)) e cat… gatto :)
Il divertimento consiste nell’accostare una foto in qualche modo buffa di un felino, con una didascalia che da un senso particolare alla foto, scritta in un inglese “strano” detto anche “Catspeak”.

Ci sono delle regole per il Catspeak, le illustro citando un messaggio che ho letto sul gruppo The official Lolcats di Facebook:

• Say ‘has’ instead of ‘have’ always.
• Use incorrect spelling for some words two silables and most words three and above. (ex: pokemans, cuddlin, buttsecks)
• Tough words are spelt correctly if the cat is not actually speeking. (ex: monorail cat)
• Cheeze is the only one silible word I’ve seen so far that is spelt incorectly.
• The word ‘hey’ is spelt ‘hai’, The word ‘this’ is spelt ‘dis’, The word ‘ate’ is spelt ‘eated’, and almost all internet abbriviations are used (thx, plz, k, brb, etc etc)
• Certain cats have developed the knowlage to speak at our level of grammer. These cats are gifted and there are few pictures of them.
• The word ‘cookies’ is sacred and never misspelled.

Nobody knows why cats talk this way. Some people say that it is their own language. Others say that they are learning to talk like us. But everyone knows that the most likely cause is because of those scratchy comb-things on their tounge. It makes it hard to talk…

Insomma… c’è tutta una filosofia a riguardo! Attualmente non mi è chiarissima la loro predilezione per i “cheezburger”, ma approfondirò! ˆ_ˆ

PS: non resisto, una cosa informatica la devo scrivere… esiste il LOLCODE, il linguaggio di programmazione “esoterico” ispirato al Catspeak! LOL!!!
